Haven 200 Milestone!

On 9th April we created our milestone 200th Haven of Hope for a woman impacted by family violence; and whilst we take pride in offering this essential service, this also signifies that since 2019, 200 women and their children impacted by family violence have required our assistance.

Vicki Ward, Minister for Prevention of Family Violence of Victoria, popped in to see the amazing work of the You Matter team and volunteers – transforming the empty space of Haven 200 into a ‘home’ with furniture, bedding, decorator items, food in the pantry, pots and pans and crockery and cutlery in the kitchen – everything needed to create a comfortable home.

We extend our gratitude to our generous donors and volunteers. Your support and kindness make a tangible difference in the lives of these women and their children, offering them hope and the opportunity for a fresh start. We are immensely grateful for your contributions.
