Through Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic), every eligible drink container you return can become part of something much bigger – a fresh start for a family rebuilding their lives.
How your containers make a difference
Every container returned through CDS Vic is worth 10 cents. When you choose to donate your refund to You Matter, those small coins combine to help us:
- Transform empty houses into fully furnished Havens of Hope
- Provide essential household items that bring comfort and stability
- Support women and children as they begin their journey of recovery and healing

How to donate your refund to You Matter
It’s quick and easy to turn your containers into hope:

- Collect your eligible bottles and cans
- Visit a CDS Vic Refund Point – either East or West zone
- At the machine or depot, choose “Donate”
- Select You Matter or scan our barcode
- Your refund goes directly toward supporting women and children
