Rosie Batty says maintain hope that we can end violence against women

Today, You Matter’s 𝘊𝘌𝘖 – 𝘋𝘦𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘩 𝘥𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 – 𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯, were privileged to attend the National Press Club of Australia, in partnership with Our Watch, to see 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗢 deliver a powerful speech about how we can maintain the momentum needed to end violence against women.

“Transforming our culture is a long game, but we must maintain hope… Stopping this violence before it starts is everyone’s responsibility – we must all work together to create a new normal, where everyone is respected as equal.”
